16 June 2023: As the entertainment industry’s preferred private jet charter specialists, we’re not easily starstruck here at Smart. We regularly fly well known personalities and superstars to destinations across the globe, either for personal travel or important work engagements.

We are highly experienced with working on top secret itineraries and our clients trust us to be confidential about their travel plans. Over the last 18 years, we have learnt that with any celebrity visit, you have to be flexible as plans can change very quickly. Adjustments always happen such as additional entourage being added last minute or routings being amended without any prior warning.

An album launch promotional tour for singing megastar:

We won’t say who, as we take all of our clients’ privacy very seriously, but we recently worked with one of the world’s most beloved singers on the promotional tour for his new album. The singer in question had tv appearances and performances scheduled in leading European cities. Over seven days, his tight itinerary flew him to Dublin, Madrid, Paris, Munich, Berlin and London.

Smart’s star choice: A 13 seater Bombardier Challenger 850.

A complex European movie premiere schedule:

We handled a complex 72 hour schedule of premieres and promotional interviews in London, Frankfurt and Paris for a blockbusting movie. For this particular client, we had to secure two private charter aircrafts; one for the 35 person crew and a smaller 13 seater for the stars of the movie, that all had to depart within minutes of each other every time. In each of the cities, we also arranged luxury private transportation for all passengers.

Smart’s star choice: Embraer 135 for the crew and an Embraer Legacy 600 for the actors.

A tale of two runways:

In February, we flew an internationally acclaimed model from London to Milan for Milan Fashion Week. The model had an important meeting with the designer’s team in London before flying to the stylish Italian city to hit the runway modelling the new collection.

When a comedian did not see the funny side:

A well-known comedian was not laughing when a family emergency occurred whilst he was on tour in Scotland. He needed to get back to London the quickest way possible and the train would have cost the comedian valuable time. Smart stepped in, and rather than spending eight hours on the train, the comedian was home within two hours, and once everything was settled at home, he was able to fly back to Scotland for his performance that evening.

Party hopping at Cannes Film Festival

A notorious DJ attended the Cannes Film Festival last month after being invited as a VIP guest to many of the prestigious parties at the event. This client travelled with her personal assistant from London to France and 24 hours later, she headed to Dubai to perform another groundbreaking show.

World-famous footballer in shock transfer

The world was watching when one particular football player announced his transfer to a new club. During the midst of the negotiations, the Smart Team firmed up a number of charters for the player and his new management, many of which we had to turn around with only a few hours notice.
