Smart carries the load

9 May 2023: The experienced Smart Team is used to handling private jet requests with very specific and complex cargo requirements. Last week, we chartered a wonderful Global 5000 for one of our longstanding business clients and were tasked with relocating his whole business from Larnaca in Cyprus to Dubai.

With all our private jet charters, we always request a comprehensive packing list so we can find the right aircraft and the most cost effective solution for our clients. This client had over 600 kilos worth of cargo to fly and from our wealth of experience, we knew instantly that there were certain aircraft types that just wouldn’t be able to carry the load.

After careful consideration, we decided on a Global 5000 operated by our trusted partners Sparfell Luftahrt GmbH. We liaised extensively with the client’s PA to get a three tonne truck airside to load the boxes and to ensure the weight load was all in order.

Jamie Milsom, ACMI & Operations Support Assistant, kept his eye on the flight to make sure all ran smoothly. Milsom said: “This was a really exciting charter to flight watch and it was great to know we played such a pivotal role in this business’ relocation. I kept the PA up to date throughout the flight and am delighted all went according to plan”.
