Smart Aviation, based near Gatwick airport, was founded by Mark Hawkins in 2005 after a decade in the travel and aviation industry with providers including First Choice Holidays.
Hawkins’ global client base includes royalty and government officials, national sports teams and stars of music and entertainment, as well as corporate groups and families.
‘We are always available and can arrange any type of charter,’ he tells Spear’s. In addition to private jets, the firm can provide charter services for commercial jets and helicopters. Long-term and short-term leasing opportunities are available with rapid turnaround. Hawkins takes a hands-on approach within the business and says he still works closely with many of Smart Aviation’s long-standing clients.
