12 July 2024: Le Touquet has a reputation for being one of France’s most luxurious destinations, a stylish, tranquil seaside retreat rich in history and culture.

Last month, we were contacted by a local company in Kent looking to charter a plane for eight passengers. The Board of Directors wanted to take six high performing staff to Le Touquet in Northern France for the weekend and spoil them amongst all its splendour. 

It was a very last minute request, but Mark, Smart’s Founder and Managing Director, swiftly secured a quote for a Beechcraft Super King Air 200.  We also presented private airport transfers to the client as an option to enhance their experience and remove any additional stress on their time sensitive plans. The flight was less than 55 minutes from Biggin Hill so the group really got to make the most of their time in this little piece of French paradise. They enjoyed the first rate facilities, the breathtaking beaches, a cycling tour along the Promenade, and fine dining at the Michelin-starred Le Pavillon restaurant at Hôtel Westminster. An iconic figure of Le Touquet, Head Chef William Elliott has worked at the restaurant for more than 30 years and the group were treated to the nine-course Dégustation Menu at €140 per person, along with the wine package.
