Travel Chaos provides Smart with another opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of chartering
In the week before Christmas, the UK, and most of Northern Europe experienced heavy disruption by the worst snowfall in 25 years.
As many scheduled airlines and major airports became victims of the snowfall, and simply closed down for days on end, several Clients turned to Smart to solve their Christmas travel Headaches.
One new client, had his family trip home cancelled by the scheduled airlines.
Fortunately, our client was smart enough to realise there was another way.
One call to Smart Aviation meant we were able to provide the client and his family with a comfortable, and very cost-effective 8 seat turboprop Beech King Air, departing from an convenient local airport that had remained open, and our client and his family were able to spend their Christmas at home.
Smart Aviation’s Sales Director, Matthew Savage commented “whilst the thought of chartering a private aircraft for a family trip may at first seem frivolous, when you look at the real cost versus the uncertainty of scheduled travel, it is surprisingly affordable; and of course, you cannot put a value on spending time with family at Christmas.”
