Major Project gets underway with Global Drinks Brand
Smart Aviation are delighted to have been chosen to arrange a very special programme of charters, on behalf of Diageo, the company behind the world famous Guinness Brand. As part of the ‘Guinness Class’ promotion, Smart are arranging exclusive private jet charters to Dublin for five lucky Guinness drinkers every Friday and Saturday night from now until December.
The project has involved months of careful planning, and close liaison with both our clients, and also our valued partners who will be operating the aircraft for us, Eurojet. One of the major challenges facing the project is the fact that the lucky prizewinners location is not known until the evening of the flight, meaning we have the crew and aircraft on standby at Eurojet’s home base at Birmingham, ready to depart as soon as we get the word from Guinness HQ. Our specially chartered VIP Cessna Citation then takes off and heads to the nearest airport to where the lucky winners are, before whisking them away for an unforgettable night in Dublin.
Smart Aviation’s Business Development Manager, Mark Sale has been managing the project and working hard to ensure all of the complex arrangements are in place. As well as arranging the aircraft charters themselves, Smart has demonstrated our ability to provide a complete package for our clients by also arranging the VIP limousine transfers in the UK and Dublin as well as Hotel arrangements for our Clients Staff.
Mark commented “Smart are incredibly proud to have won this contract, and to show that whilst we are small enough to ensure our clients receive a dedicated, personal service and exceptional attention to detail, we also have the ability, thanks to our hugely experienced team and our 24 hour coverage, to manage the most complex of flights, to ensure we exceed our customers expectations.”
We look forward to more busy weekends over the coming months arranging once-in-a-lifetime nights out for lucky Guinness drinkers!
