Case study: Premier League Charters
Our football clients include Premiership and Championship teams in England, leading clubs across Europe and National Associations worldwide – and we were pleased to be able to help one of our Premier League club clients with four charter flights last month.
The club’s first team were headed for away games in two UK cities to face their Barclays Premier League opponents. All charter flights carried management, staff and players with their overnight bags and equipment – including massage beds.
Through our network of trusted operators, we were able to provide very cost effective charter options for them.
For their first charter to the North East of the UK, we chose a Fokker 50, a turboprop aircraft offering an excellent standard of comfort and reliability configured to seat up to 50 passengers, providing plenty of legroom for the team to stretch out.
For their second charter, to the South West of the UK, a Saab 340B provided an equally cost-effective option for the team, with members of our experienced sports charter team on the ground to oversee the flight and ensure the flight was off the tarmac without a hitch.
Matt Feldon, our charter specialist, worked closely with the club’s Director of Football and Player Liaison Officer and our extensive network of operators to source the most suitable aircraft for both charter flights – as well as take care of the finer details such as seating arrangements, catering and airside coach transport.
