A flying start to 2018

Charters for this year’s biggest sporting events.

Our Sales Director, Matthew Savage, reflects on our flying start to 2018.

‘We have enjoyed an outstanding start to 2018.

Against the backdrop of our fresh new branding and coinciding with a move to a spacious new office, we have enjoyed a considerable increase in forward bookings and notable contracts. We have also welcomed two new staff members in recent weeks and the vibe in the office is definitely positive.

As a company, we have been leaders in aircraft charters for sports events since the very beginning. Our competitors may be looking ahead to this year’s sporting events awaiting bookings, but we already have several firm contracts in place.’

Natwest 6 Nations

The Six Nations has always been a key event for us and this year we have secured aircraft charters, to fly over 3,000 rugby supporters to the fixtures in this historic tournament, on behalf of some of Europe’s largest specialist sports tour operators.

FIFA World Cup

There is a lot of talk in the industry about the FIFA World Cup in Russia and we’re delighted to have bookings already in place. The many decades of experience among our staff puts us at a great advantage when planning complex itineraries flying to and within Russia. If you have a requirement for aircraft charter for the 2018 World Cup, you really need to be talking to us – whether it’s a private jet for a VIP, a team charter or group charter flight, we can, and have, arranged them all.

UEFA Champions League

The 2017/8 Champions League is shaping up to be a great competition and we are delighted to be at the heart of the action. We have chartered flights for many of the teams still involved and we’re looking forward to continuing that cooperation, hopefully all the way to the final in Kiev on 26 May.

Winter Olympics

Starting in just a few weeks in Pyeongchang, South Korea, we are truly delighted to be arranging a very special charter for the Olympic Winter Games on behalf of one of the biggest names in winter sports, operated by a specially configured VIP airliner. Watch this space for more details on this prestigious operation next month.

‘Away from our booming sports business, we have seen a significant growth in both our tour operating contracts and private jet charter flights. As our client base continues to grow, so does our team, and we recently welcomed James Gregory and Greg Edens to the team, both of whom bring a wealth of experience in aircraft charter, VIP operations and client care.

Our ACMI service continues to be industry leading and this year we are building on the outstanding year we had in 2017 by further increasing our leasing business with the world’s airlines.  Demand for capacity has never been so high and when the pressure is on, you need experience and knowledge to find the right aircraft. Our team have both and we have been servicing the requirements of some of the world’s largest airlines since our foundation in 2005.

We’re incredibly excited about the opportunities for 2018 and we are looking forward to helping clients old and new achieve their goals this year, using our considerable expertise, contacts and ability to provide the very best solutions on the market.’
