ACMI business soars in the “quiet month”
November: traditionally the month when the subcharter market grinds to a halt, following the Summer rush. A time to catch up on paperwork, update the contact lists, and maybe even take some holiday, but not for the Smart ACMI team, who have been as busy as ever. Thanks to Smart’s well-earned reputation for immediate responses and complete solutions, the ACMI team has seen a significant increase in business in what is normally seen as the quietest month on the ACMI calendar.
So far we have completed no less than eleven separate deals, providing ACMI solutions for some of Europe’s largest carriers, covering their programmes due to AOG’s or planned maintenance.
